What is ShopART?

ShopART Midwest is an artist-centric, non-commission gallery that connects Midwest artists to the buyers who appreciate living with the arts and handcrafted items. This is a service by Twin Rivers Council for the Arts supporting our local culture makers and making it easier for anyone to bring special, handmade arts into their lives.

Deep Valley Book Festival

The Deep Valley Book Festival gets its name from the setting of the beloved Betsy-Tacy children’s books written by Mankato-born author Maud Hart Lovelace. The Deep Valley Book Festival connects readers and writers in a celebration of literature and literacy. This FREE, 2-day, virtual, festival brings people together to celebrate our vibrant literary culture. The Deep Valley Book Festival features dozens of authors, illustrators, publishers, literary organizations, and hundreds of books! Visit with a favorite author or meet a new one, have your book signed, or listen to authors talk about their works. This FREE family event features a full weekend of programs, speakers, panel discussions, book giveaways, YWAC awards, and more. The Deep Valley Book Festival is organized by an all-volunteer committee of local writers, publishers, and book lovers.
