What is ShopART?

ShopART Midwest is an artist-centric, non-commission gallery that connects Midwest artists to the buyers who appreciate living with the arts and handcrafted items. This is a service by Twin Rivers Council for the Arts supporting our local culture makers and making it easier for anyone to bring special, handmade arts into their lives.

Linda Mix Yates

I am a life long learner beginning in Architecture School at the U of M to today where I am studying for a Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology. I have had many artistic bents as well, but have always loved the dynamic aspect of glass as light brings it alive and changes through the day. I am still a novice, but stubbornly, through trial and error, have developed a line of ornaments and suncatchers that resonates with people, allowing me to share my love of glass with you and those you gift to. I decorate glass sheets, making my own patterns and color combinations, making each piece unique and one of a kind. I continue to innovate and try new things, always looking for something different. Whether you choose to own one of my creations or just want to look, I hope you enjoy.
